DON'T MISS this years' VW / Audi Track Day at Croft Racing Circuit - Saturday 28th April 2007

DON'T MISS this years' VW / Audi Track Day at Croft Racing Circuit - Saturday 28th April 2007: click to enlargeEach year that the Milltek Sport VW / Audi track day at Croft has been running it has got bigger and better and this year is set to be no exception.

The event will take place at the picturesque and well-equipped Croft race circuit, near Darlington in North Yorkshire. It's famous for it's 2.1 miles of track twists and turns in every direction - highly technical and extremely exciting for drivers, passengers and spectators alike.

The event is organised by Autometrix, the publishers of Volkswagen Driver and Audi Driver magazines, and although it's primarily for Volkswagen & Audi models (inc SEAT and Skoda etc), last year a number of places were allocated to drivers with cars from other marques. There were Porsche's, Westfield's, Radical's and more, this year it's expected to be even more diverse.

We will be demonstrating some of our own show vehicles on track such as the new Audi S3 quattro 2.0 Turbo (full turbo-back exhaust), Audi TT 2.0T s Tronic (fitted with quad-outlet turbo-back exhaust), Skoda Octavia vRS 2.0T (full turbo-back exhaust), and a VW Eos 2.0 TDi (full turbo-back exhaust).

Current Volkswagen Racing competitor Graham Needham will be taking passengers around the circuit in his Milltek Sport-sponsored Mk5 Golf R32 Race Car. If you would like to experience the sheer excitement of Volkswagen Racing at Croft, simply come to the Milltek Sport pit garage and sign the indemnity form - don't be shy.

We will also have ex-racing instructor and Volkswagen Racing Cup winner Shaun Hollamby on hand to take some lucky show-goers on hot laps around the circuit in any of the Milltek cars. No purchase is necessary although would be appreciated. Helmets will be provided.

Tickets for the event can be purchased via the Autometrix website.
