Milltek Sport and Steinbauer
Performance exhaust manufacturer Milltek Sport has announced its technical partnership with leading Austrian Performance Box specialist Steinbauer. This new association follows Steinbauer’s decision to optimise a selected number of products from its tuning range to work specifically with Milltek Sport’s free-flowing exhaust systems, after finding that they give the best blend of performance and aural enhancement.

Both companies come from a position of excellence, with the desire to create market-leading products that offer tangible gains to the driving enthusiast. In particular, Steinbauer has a very strong portfolio of VW Group and BMW products, which was where Milltek was happy to step in with its proven range of systems to allow the Swiss firm’s engineers to be able to configure its range of performance software to maximise the benefit created by Milltek’s superior flow characteristics.

The result is an exceptionally well-crafted range of software, which when fitted in conjunction with the appropriate Milltek Sport system, will give market-leading performance gains. Many of Steinbauer’s performance packages for VW Group cars offer up to 20% more torque and power, combined with smooth and progressive throttle maps, to give a true ‘factory with attitude’ driving demeanour. Milltek Sport are currently conducting power tests which include both the tuning box and exhaust system which means gains will be much higher.
